Are there are any new versions or different editors to use? I find that one limited.

You can always use Atlas if you reach the space limit, otherwise FF3usME is more user-friendly.

Have you already edited the new script or have you already rewritten it? I used FF3USme to insert my altered script and you can feel free to use my hack as a basis for yours. It already uses many of the things you mean to implement, such as angelo's longer names and ZED's B Button Dash.
