Assassin17 made a fix for the status immunity issue here:

Overcast will still bypass zombie immunity, but you'll be able to heal it afterword
The site also has some other nice patches, like alphabetized rages, fixing Step Mine displaying the wrong MP cost, fixing the Guantly displaying the wrong BatPow, orfixing Suplex using split damage against multiple enemies (even though it only hits one)

- Items 28 and 51 (Atma Weapon and Heal Rod) seem hardcoded to be ignored by Optimize. That has to go.
Well, applied the patch. Now characters protected from Zombie and hit by Overcast die normally on death. Works for me, dunno if that's the intended bugfix but I can go with it. Thanks, Rydel.
On the topic of Optimize, I found the chunk of Optimize coding at C3/96F0. Not sure where to go from there? EAing the 03F98 at C3/970D and/or the DFE482ED at C3/982D didn't do it, not sure what else it might be looking at the sequence.

i found another glitch, when you beat discord for the first time, after he saids his ill be back message, he does a ending attack after he flees from battle, so is that a glitch then
and when the pony flies off to zozo, her sprite is not there when you see her fly off to zozo
The lack of a sprite is deliberate, as changing Esper Terra's flying sprite is a more involved process that, IMHO, is more trouble than its worth for that one scene.
Discord's final attack is a glitch that I left in, because running away and leaving a parting blow is something Discord would do anyway.
