How to change background like Cyan's Dream and such....

Hi guys I asking about the background change
recently I play Tsushiy-san's FFVI hack right now I almost finish against espers in T.S.S(The Soul Shrine) one of them are change the background color like this one:

I don't know how he did this.....Is anyone know how to change the background permanent or temporary is via Hex code or via Level EditorHuh

I sent a message, but even here a reply.

This does not mean that changing the color of the background intentionally.
If you use have been used during the Battle of the Chadarnook, the emergence of enemy command, a certain background color seems to change.

Yeah, i remember that this happens often, for exmple... if you try to customize spell animations and put the white background used for Pearl/Holy, then it can happen that the colors are changed... Surprised

I know this pretty well because I recolored backgrounds for my randomizer. The background palettes are at 0x270150 (unheadered). Each palette is 0x60 (96) bytes long, and each color is two bytes, so there are 48 colors in each palette.

By the way, the palettes for each background are not in the same order as the backgrounds themselves. I had to test each one to find the correct palette for each background. You can see the results of my test here: https://github.com/abyssonym/beyondchaos...lettes.txt

Cyan's Dream is background 0x2e, so it is expected that the correct palette to edit is 0x32 (the 50th palette, counting 0).

Hey, have you ever considered to make some tutorial, in general? i mean, you surely have some good knowledge.
Just in the case you feel interested in doing something like that...
(still i don't know which aspects of ff6 hacking are yet to be explained with a tutorial Tongue )

@abyssonym COOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! I saw your image in post its ammmmmazing how did you manage their Background dungeon are you using Hex code or via Level Editor Huh
As Tenkarider mentioned would you make a tutorial for us who want to change the desire background dungeon like Cyan's Dream and such!?
