thank you, I feel his flashback uniform came out better then originally expected, we are considering a dressing room but we are almost at full capacity with sprites unfortunately, there is about space for 2 more and they are already in the works

Alright, so I defeated Albion after doing a little leveling, all I really have left to do is hunt down the last two dragons and go to Zebes Island. I still have not found Astral yet, and I also just got the Time Egg but what do I do with it? I remember being told to have it for the developers room before, but I was able to walk into that blocked room a few days ago, BEFORE I had the Time Egg. Was that a bug, or do I use the Time Egg elsewhere?

Poco wins the cookie!

And hell yeah, another guest character at the Zuriel/Zemus scene! It'd be crazy to have Cecil or Kain/Holy Dragoon Kain in the mix. Or KluYa. I remember him being in the old Last Hope - All-Stars, so it would be pretty cool to see him again, only this time decked out as a Paladin or Holy Knight. I imagine Kluya being a Paladin, being Cecil and Kain both change to Paladin-types from his spirit. Or hey, maybe Big Gay Al will come to save the day, who knows? Can't wait to see who it is!

I've gotten Oboro, Otis, Avalon, Serin, Arc, Mog, and Aurora back on my team, and am in the middle of the Dream Sequence in Mist Castle (Just beat the Axem Ranges).

1) Evonne's Tomb

This is one of those few places I dreaded in FF6. Cool place, but the monsters would status effect you through the ringer. Evonne's Tomb? SO MUCH BETTER. Most encouters I came across usualy consisted of the large scorpions, which are pretty easy to kill, which was great with Serin and Otis being low 30's while Tifa and Ronan were near 40. Ronan's ice attack is a godsend, please never nerf it lol. The boss here wasn't too much trouble, and the music for this whole area is great. Found the Birdo Egg, and the graffiti on the tombstones is right on the mark.

I'll state here that the airship music for the WoR is nuckin futs. Same goes for the WoR chocobo music. I can't tell if it's a track from another game or if you guys cooked it up from scratch but man, it sounds EXACTLY like a post-apocalyptic chocobo ride should.

2) Death Mountain

Another area in FF6 that I considered meh now kicks copious amounts of ass. I loved the palette changes, and coupled with some epic LTTP tunes, it has the evil, post apocalyptic hell feel that FF6 sorely lacked. None of the encounters here are irritating as long as you keep float casted on your team. Well, except for the Taros anyway, but that's only because he has a pretty good chance of a 2x Back Snap combo on 1 character with a usual follow-up of punch to face, and it's a miracle to survive (at this point). But hey, gives a good challenge when I come back to fight the dragon with my reassembled power squad. I laughed at the key items in Avalon's chest, I hope there's a funny side quest or use for them.

3) The Sarlac Pit

Oh man, there's a Sarlac Pit! I dig the DKC 2 lava-level music, tho the main, prominent melody or instrument sounds a bit off. Everything else in the track is pure ear candy tho, and I liked hearing it while running around fighting things. One thing that irks me is how like, EVERY fight with a ninja/shinobi is unescapable. It makes sense that a ninja can cut off your escape path licktey split, but it still gets annoying here and there, like when I was soloing the place with Otis so I could get Pepe real quick. The frustration was the result of my own personal choice, but still haha.

Speaking of Pepe, when you go into his room on the airship, for a fraction of a second he's a north-facing pig sprite, then changes to Pepe's sprite. It's like the Aerith in the church thing in FF7, but with pigs and birds. Laugh

I think that about covers what I've done so far, minus the Hideout in Beast Plains, but I'll talk about that after I finish the dream sequence in Mist Castle. After reading up on getting more Birdo Eggs, I'll be decking my party out with Pimp Canes. Otis is already rocking one, and I'm curious to see if the x2 gil effect can stack. I doubt it will but it'll be fun to find out in any case. I'm still super amped about the future addition of a buttload more music. It'd be great to hear some Dead Sea music from Chrono Cross when you're first running around the WoR, up until you get to Otis or something. Have no victory BGM at that time period cuz hey, all your friends are probably dead, you don't have time for a victory dance.

Haha so yeah, totally psyched up. It's gonna make New Game+ real fun. Speaking of which, I've been theorizing if that's what the Time Egg's for, after the woman in Township (I think) talks about wishing she had a Time Egg to go back into the past before it all began. I hope I can find the Time Egg soon so I can find out, since I haven't come across the possible bug DJKool mentioned above.

Sorry for the lack of responses here lately I've been focusing on getting Golbez to learn spells like everybody else and equip espers etc. It's a lot harder than I thought, for me anyways - thankfully GrayShadows is helping me out now. Also, I successfully expanded the ROM to 6mb and that adds a TON of more space for stuff which is awesome, since the ROM was basically full.

I'll be focusing on the feedback and observations here after Golbez work is done! Thanks guys! =)

Sounds good! I'm guessing it is some issue from how Umaro was coded or something? Anyway good luck Smile

Wow sorry about that super long quote, not sure why it did that. I hate the quote feature on this site >_<

Umaro was actually easy to change and turn into basically what Gogo was. That's as far as I took him. But Gogo, however, needs new code written for him since the game excluded him (and Umaro) from any and all magic learning/using routines.

I can never figure it out, the plus and minus sign. On that last post there it quoted I think the whole page and I didn't even tell it to lol.

test

^ there I did 'quote' on your post, and it didn't quote it. It used to work for me fine, not sure what I did.

Like I said in the pm, you have to press "quotepost" then "quote" and it will work...

Edit: That system allow to quote multiple post into a single post.
