Morph glitch?

So I recently created a custom sprite for Terra. I tested a battle the other day with that sprite and used the morph command, and the sprite didn't change to the Esper form (which I did not change). I have never had issues with sprite changing Terra before and having this issue so I'm not sure if that's the case.

I have installed 2 patches
- Dash with "B"
- My own custom music patch

I made sure they were for the appropriate file type, and the only other thing I did was Hex change the sprite that moogle suit loads, and added a monster in the box chest in the airship.

Could any of these things cause this issue? If not, what the heck happened xD?

I don't know exactly where the sprite is changed but it seems the morph function in bank C2 is only related to the morph status, revert command and morph gauge. Maybe you could trace from there and see what is going on...

The sprite change should be done in bank C2 I think, since the status is toggled there, I haven't seen anything related to the morph status in bank C1 but then again I only had a quick look.

Could a custom armor and custom boss combo have any effect on it? It's an odd error, so I figured anything could cause it :/

If you are referring to the moogle suit sprite change, no because the function you changed is the initialization of character properties from equipment properties.It is in no way related to morph.

If "custom boss combo" refers to an AI script, they are in no way either related to the morph status.

Best way to figure out this is to do some tracing.

I was not refering to the moogle armor. Just a custom armor I had for her that does nothing but give her lots of boosts. And by custom boss combo it wasn't refering to a specific AI script. it was "Custom armor and custom boss combo" as in both together maybe causing an issue. It was just a thought o 3o

I know that. Just meant it's an off the wall issue, not sure if other off the wall stuff would cause it or not. Just throwing out ideas
