Yes I just started playing your .smv in snes9x 1.55, right when it start I recorded and .avi (default codec should work), then when the movie exited battle screen I pressed "Stop avi recording" and movie appeared where it was supposed to be.

FYI, you can extract and .avi movie audio with Audacity as long as you have ffmpeg installed, this is what I've done to export to .wav: https://lame.buanzo.org/#lamewindl

I think I have the plugin installed for audacity because I can upload the video file on it but I still get no sound. the default I have is full frames (uncompressed), but anyway thanks for the help.
