Potential breaking bad news for you Gi:
My bro stated that, after finding Birdo Egg in the shrine in which you take the Falcon, the egg disappear, but if you examine that empty space once more, then you'll get another Birdo Egg(just once).
In this way you find 2 eggs, instead of 1... i doubt that it was intended to give 2 eggs, so i'm gonna consider that a bug... check that, please

Ohhh, shi...t!
Thanks, I'll check it out.
It's weird (testing it here) how it is the two eggs, and not like re-spawn over and over. It's set to twice somehow lol, huh. Amazing also how your bro would think to check there again!
I am an idiot, I put a treasure there as well as the event that gives you the egg. So there's the egg given to you by the npc event, and then once that is gone, the treasure egg is there >_<

Too bad... looks like 1.2 won't wait too much
Anyway yes, my bro must have some talent as game tester, besides we both tend to walk in any square of the map and keep mash the examine button after each step XD

I just updated the 1.1 one with the fix actually. Couldn't wait lol. I will be sure to include it in the fix log though next time. He seems like a great tester though, I doubt anyone would have found that one really.

Wait, what you're gonna mention: just the egg bug or even the fact it was my bro to discover that?
In that case i'd provide you his nickname.

I was just going to mention the bug getting fixed, I mean usually it's not said who discovered what in a change log, but if he really wants that...?

No, i don't think so... he's surely much more humble than me
Btw it's more probable that he actually don't care at all to be mentioned.

I LOVE THIS ROM HACK!!!
I've been playing it nonstop for the past well, 16 hours, to much consternation by my wife
I'm at the fire demon part. Nice touch adding a ton of new dialogue between former Terra and former Leo. In fact, nice touch with all the new dialogue.
Fire demon was a real challenge. After dying in the third battle (after putting in an hours effort) I did get a bit frustrated and set my game pad down for the night.
The new music was a bit off putting at first: a lot of the tunes reminded me of cheesy SNES games that used too much grunge. Got used to it though, and now I can't get the battle theme out of my head.
So far this is by far the best hack to date I've ever seen, and I can't wait to play through the rest of it (if my wife doesn't run off with my kid first - - lmao jk)

This is great to hear! I'm very happy to hear you are enjoying the game. I'd recommend downloading the latest 1.1 version, not sure if you were informed about it yet as it was released so soon after 1.0, it has some semi-crucial fixes and some balance issues & a couple song touch ups - but really you don't have to for this playthrough since you are already into the WoR. If you do though you can keep on playing your current game, just make sure the save is named the same as the ROM.
About the grungy songs, there are quite a few heavy metal-esque tunage going on sometimes, I couldn't resist lol. Funny thing is I'm much more into hip hop, but hearing FFVI blast out metal songs excites the hell out of me, for lack of a better explanation. I went with the heaviest one for Kefka simply because I think it fits his more badass character I tried to give him, more than the original anyway, for obvious reasons. And nothing says evil badass more than death metal imo. I knew going into it a variety of people would not like certain song choices in the game, and others not liking other certain songs, so what I did was pick songs that I liked the best
It makes my day to hear such praise about this project, if it is the best hack you've played than it was all worth it. Please keep us updated, and don't neglect time with your wife because of it lol! I do not wan't to be responsible for breaking up happy marriages! XD
The WoR pumps up the difficulty a bunch too, some of those damn bosses..., so I hope it doesn't cause too much time-consuming frustration.

Bug report from my bro: in Gogo's lair... the room in which the ceiling smashes you(and with Ebot rock view limitation?! ) looks like most of the death spots won't kill you at all! The death event may still happen, but quite rarely and suddenly...
Test it on your own, Gi!
PS: i believe that Wario and Evil Mario are really weak to be WoR bosses...
