Thanks I didn't know you could do a search . Now is the address 2044 or 204486 cause in my rom when I go to 2044 the that address has 24 in and when I do 204486 the number there is 40 .

Double
CA/2044 is the address you found. 86 is the hex command that is there. However, since you have a headered ROM, you'll need to add $200 to addresses found in the event dump to find where they are in the ROM. So you will need to look at CA/2244, and you should find the hex command $86 there.

For some reason when I do the 2244 it has an 02 in that spot . Now I did do the expand the rom on the ffusme could that be the problem ?

What digit do I have to turn that into to get an Illumina sword ?

I did a line search in the editor for the 86 45 3a fe and found it at address and it was at C2244 I didn't know I had to put c at as the first digit or is it the wrong spot . those numbers are the order using the next event on the sheet .

You need to put the bank in the search also, like A2244 for CA/2244. You were searching at C0/2244. It's not CA/2044 you should be looking for, but CC/2044, or in you case CC/2244 since it's headered. So you would search offset C2244 and you should see the give party crusader command. That is what you're looking for right? I might be confused.

edit: Ah seems you found it out. =)

Thanks so much I got it ! Can I also do this with my Odin to Odin problem ?

No you were right I am not used to the format that people use on here for address in a hex editor when I did Ogre Battle all the info would be written in sheets like 101224 and u would have to type in the editor the whole address . But Thanks a bunch I managed to do it !! Can I do the Odin issue the same way or do I have to use the LE ?
Never Mind I found that too Thanks all !!!
