Custom Weapon: Throwing Knives

Hopefully SSJ Rick is still around, but I was wondering if someone can help me get this new animation to replace the shuriken throw effect instead of the darts.

Couldn't you just write down the dart animation, apply the patch, write down the new animation, transfer it the shuriken, restore the dart one and revert the name change this patch does?

Where is the shuriken animation located, though?  That is technically all I need to know I think!

I think you just need to change the weapon animation in FF3usME in the item tab.

Woah, I didn't even realize these throwing knives used existing graphics!  I thought they were new graphics that replaced the darts.  Very clever of SSJ Rick.

Edit: Wait, they don't use existing graphics; they replace the dart graphic. I guess I need to know where the Shuriken graphic is stored, so I can swap it with the new knife graphic.

If you don't need the dart graphics, you can do what I did in my first reply. Otherwise there are some weapon graphics around $D33100 and $CE5780 in 3bpp format. You can use YY-CHR to copy the dart GFX to the shuriken one.
