The only limit is imagination. And 16 colors.. I guess

I'd tweak the colors a bit more,

personally I'd change the brown into blue if I were you to make it match the sprite more

but again its your choice, very nice job though

This. Perhaps a lighter blue? Brown makes me think more of Gau or Setzer.
