I'm working on this again and trying to finish the sprites.

What does it include?

This is the main hack I've been working on since last august, not current august.
It included enemies and characters from FF2-FF10.
It included enemies and characters from FF2-FF10.
Spells - Complete
Summons - WIP
Characters - 90% Complete
I'm moving all the summons over to Lore so you can control which summon you'd like to use each round. 70% of all summons are new as well, here's a list.
Chocobo - Setzers 'slot' ability.
Bomb - Replaces Phantom.
Shiva - Uses FFV's sprite.
Ifrit - Default.
Ramuh - Uses FFV's sprite.
Carbuncle - Uses FFV's sprite... Carbuncle shouldn't be blue. ;
Golem - Considering using FFV's sprite.
Seraph - Default.
Titan - Replaces Terrato.
Palador - Default.
Syldra - Replaces Tritoch.
Magic Jar - Replaces Ragnarok.
Asura - Replaces Unicorn. - Life 3 + Regen on entire party.
Malboro - Replaces Kiren - Bad Breath on everyone.
Zalgo - Replaces Stray (Cait Sith).
Cerberus - Replaces Siren.
Zone Seeker - Default.
Phoenix - Using FFV's sprite.
Odin - Uses FFIV's sprite.
Anima - Replaces Maduin
Leviathan - Replaces Shoat, uses FFIV sprite and uses Water Edge graphics.
Alexander - Default.
Bahamut - Default.
Ultima - Replaces Starlet (if it fits in her mold).

When I download it, it says .rar is it in IPS format, what do I need to do to play it?

.ips is a patch file, meaning you need to patch that file onto a clean FFVI Rom, using something like IPSWin (which you can get free if you search it up)
then you play the patched rom on an emulator like any other SNES Rom. (In my case, moving that onto an SD card to play on my modded-Wii)

actually I checked, the hack isn't by a patch at all.
just unzip the .rar file and open up an emulator (Snes9x or ZSNES) and open the Beta.smc in the emulator
poof, it should run and you can play it.
Seems to work for me...controls or how to play are by what you set them in the emulator, the default you can figure out.
