Relics are being replaced by "Rings".
Protection Buff Rings
1) Mirror Ring - Blink on User
2) Haste Ring - Haste on User.
3) Protect Ring - Protect on User.
4) Beserk Ring - Beserk+Random Retort
5) Regen Ring - Regen on User
6) Megagen Ring - Four sets of regens, absorbs poison. (also ??? added, Tintabar)
7) Speed Ring - Haste + Speed
8) Death Ring - Blink, Protect, Shell, Haste, Condemned.

Status Buff Rings
9)Power Ring - Increases Attack power.
10) B.Mages Ring - Increases Spell damage.
11) W.Mages Ring - Increases Mana by 25%
12) Hero Ring - Increases Spell and Attack power.
13) Vigor Ring - Increases Vigor by 50%
14) Health Ring - Increases HP by 25%
15) Status Ring - Increases all stats by a small amount.
16) Nimble Ring - Increases Evasion Up, Randomly Evade.
17) Barrier Ring - Increases magical defense by 25.
18) Defense Ring - Increases physical defense by 25.

I'm in quite a delima. I was planning to add a "Bow and Arrow" into the game, although what would seem the least difficult procedure in getting something this advanced working is becoming the most troublesome. FF3 Edit crashes my rom every single time. The side effects of this program on my rom are pretty harsh as is, there has to be a way to get an items icon to show up without implementing it with FF3 Edit.

This is what I mean.

well there is a way around it, someone told me before you can back up the rom, then download a program called atlas and dump out the text format/font that u have and put it in a new rom

that or wait 4 Lord J to finish the project lol

that being said, there IS a way to add bow and arrow weapons and even musical instrument weapons in the game, I know how to point u in the right direction but unfortunately don't know how to go about it

well I am sure you know about enemy's special attacks and sound effects, they are in a separate category (namely the ??? areas in the editors) when they are decoded and u know what is what, there is a way to implement the way certain weapon attacks look, like a brush to look like the char walks forward and shoots an arrow or a musical note comes out

hopefully they will be clarified and it will be put in the next installment of FF6MDE

I know all about that, I just am stuck with the symbol that's in the name. I'm not worried about the weapons graphics. Wink
