Changes in Menu

About the FF6LE I saw it and is exactly what I need, but unfortunately because I did many changes in the game it won't open my main game, it open a clean game (with no hack or changes) but with a game hacked it won't open :S
Does someone know another way to change the npcs palettes? Thanks in advance
PS: I have an idea, it will work if I do the npc palette changes in a clean game and then create an ips xD and apply the patch with my changes of npc palettes to my main hacked game?? hehe
