Oh shoot. I forgot that the Editor Restoration only works with the headered patch. If you find a headered rom file and use the headered patch, you should be able to continue on from your save file. I apologize that I don't really have the bandwidth this weekend to help in advanced troubleshooting.

Just started playing this today. Finished Zozo and went to Jidoor to Owzers house, and the letter isn't there, and I'm stuck. Is there something else you have to do in this version first, or is this a bug

If I remember correctly, you go to the
first in this hack I think.

We are born, live, die and then do the same thing over again.

I'm enjoying Divergent Paths, it's the first time I've ever tried a FF6 Hack, but...I just finished the Floating Continent, waited for Shadow at the end, and watched the world get remade...and then it never loads up the next part, it's just the black screen with the wind howling in the background. Please help, I want to keep going, but I've reloaded my save from right before Atma Weapon 4 times now and it keeps getting stuck on that black screen with the background wind.

What am I screwing up and how do I not?

You need to run the editor restoration patch included in the Extras folder. If you made any edits to Divergent Paths in FF3usME after patching it, it screws up the World of Ruin map.

I certainly didn't do any editing, I'm wouldn't even know how to start doing something like that, but I will see if I can figure out how to do...the thing you said...

*update* So I found the "editor restoration" thing in the folder, double clicked it, and it asked me to find the file...so I clicked on the FF6DP folder, it said it was successfully patched...and now, the game won't even start...
The same thing happened to me with the World of Ruin, I think it happened because I applied both the headered & non-headered files. But I'm not sure because I've been away from any sort of technology since the 31st. (I would've reported this on that day if I wasn't gone!)
