I do not say this out of anger, but out of dejection -  please do not always presume I run to you guys for help without trying things myself. I do. And I'm sorry I'm not as smart as you guys when it comes to these things.

Dejection?  they would have closed the thread if that was the case.  The staff here is super nice and helpful.  Just be patient, everyone here has lives of their own and modding this game is mad time consuming .

Dejection may have been the wrong word. Exasperated would be closer, though that's a bit strong. Not to show off the vocabulary.

@DrakeyC: trust me, it wasn't Gi Nattak's intention to insult you... he's just trying to help you both in your hack and in making you learn stuff, even at the cost of being harsh/blunt sometimes.

My life taught me that the best teachers are harsh, i never learnt anything from kind people who always do stuff in my place rather that telling me how to do that. one day you might thank him properly for behave in that way

If I said, you are a ****, then that is insulting. For one to be bitchy, is an adjective that is thrown around all the time.
I even followed it up with a 'lol' in case there was any doubt.
Bitchy: (of a person's comments or behavior) malicious or unpleasant.

I forgot about my desire to have weapons that teach spells show such in the menu. I went back through the thread, found this.

Tried to follow along with this. I could not. I found the coding Gi mentioned in my Rom, and in the lower post got as far as "JSR $02F9" before I was lost. I tried to look up the meaning of these three letter terms, and though I found this.

I could not understand what it was talking about. I can see the LD? commands tell it to load bytes from other places, but that's the limit of what I got from it. Back in the forum I found the three lines the guy points out for moving the text up one row.
