IPS Conflict Checker - Mblock129

That should be it, contains readme which should cover how to use it.

Always use archive.org for down website: https://web.archive.org/web/201310071139...kster.net/

Also, there a GUI equivalent utility: http://www.romhacking.net/utilities/1080/

Edit: There's also the patch allocation document you should check, though it might be a bit outdated but still useful: http://www.angelfire.com/al2/imzogelmo/patches.html

Well... Improvement project has a huge amount of patches listed, but what about patch download links? In Slick production(Index) there's barely a quarter of all the patches listed in that projects... where are the others?

The Improvement project lists the names of the authors for each patch, so I'd try the corresponding author's websites to locate them!
This thread has them all nicely organized: https://www.ff6hacking.com/forums/showth...p?tid=1712

Sadly Novalia's website is down which had a ton of great ones, even the wayback machine can't access his patches page. Finding his may not be possible at this point.
Could always try contacting him I suppose - novaliaspirit@hotmail.com

assassin's main page seems down, but at least his patches page is working:
http://home.comcast.net/~assassin17/patches.htm

And mblock129 page is also down, but Madsiur linked the archived page there.

I may have some of those that may be lost. MAY, and no promiss they would be the best/proper version. I just had a tendency to download every patch when I came across them, store and sort eventually. So yes, I may have it buried. If you absolutely cant find the proper ones, gimmie a name of patch and I'll look when able.

Just offering, sad to see so much stuff getting lost.

On that note, well another.... something, what/why couldn't some of this stuff find a vault here?

As in what would it require, and could it even be done without mass destruction, hurt feelings and stepping on toes? Then of course there is always the "would it be worth it" question.

Except Novalia's website, which is unreachable, i tracked down all bugs which interested me in the links you provided me, still missing some patch: (assuming someone already created them)

- X-Zone striking a monster causes it to disappear (problems with life 3)
- Tempest/Dragon Horn bug (if windslash connects, character disappear in the sky)
- Black Atma Weapon bug
- mimic on joker doom
- enemy roulette cancellation
- imp with runic or vanish
- Second Charm makes first charmer's spell useless
- Death, Petrify, and Zombie lose permanent status beginning battle, but not
immunity
- Imped Ragers keep automatic movement, but not anything else
- Imp... or not an Imp?: Part 2 (monster becomes imp but graphic won't change)
- X-type instant death revives instant death-immune undead
- Condemned does kill flying undead monsters
- Have a dead/zombie party and not get Annihilated (someone hit by sneeze)
- if monster dies while jumping, you won't get xp, gp, drops
- Specials against party members that use a block animation result in formation error
- Spell counters become omni-counters until another spell is used (AI cmd FC 02)
- Item counters become omni-counters until another item is used (AI cmd FC 03)
PS: those 2 bugs are extremely important to fix!!!
- Invisible stepping stones (the ones you use to jump in phoenix cave)
- Celes doesn't learn Muddle from level averaging
- bug drop if dead monster is not in one of the slots of a swapped formation

There's one last bug, but i wanted to ask you if this one isn't the bug that FF3usME fixes as soon as you open the monster list... am i right?
- mag roader script bug

I could have swore, any I have seen on that list that I've seen were on either MasterZed's or Assassins page.

The titles may not be exact, or the patch is targeted at one thing and fixes another in the process. (In other words, reading every description if haven't already, may be required.)

Not saying that would cover all, but I know I've seen some of those in patch form somewhere. (Could have swore one of Assassin's readme files on a patch adressed or fixed the charm thing, despite the patch being for something else, such as auto battling or zombies or something). Also have notes regarding an FC 05 fix but don't remember anything about 02 or 03. Could the fix for 05 be adapted for others?

You saw them because they are described in Master ZED's gamefaq, but just described. all what you said about the patches you saw fix other problems and i downloades some of them as well, but the ones i listed won't appear as patch...
PS. no, FC 05 bug is completely different from the ones of FC 02 and FC 03, while i thought that the problem was FC 05, the truth is that all the hateful bug i have in my scripts are related to the other 2 commands ;[

That's the thing, I never read his bug list. My reading material into bugs was only from patch explinations. (Assassin had some very informative readme's. So it really might have just been a mention or a "I'll look at it later" memo in one of those readme. Who knows, that how my memory works.

As for F05, didn't expect that patch to fix everything, what I was saying (I did not look into that patch hardcore so have no clue how it fixes) the point was can the same concept of that patch be implamented to fix the others. In the very least it may provide insight as to how a fix can be made. (Also don't remember how well that fix was documented either.)

Just a thought either way. Currently computer is scattered everwhere and ff6 files at home. So haven't looked though all the patches I have. Will get it out tomorrow one way or the other though. What can I say, I didnt do alot of bug fixes unless it hit me in the face. Not sure what I downloaded from where though.
