It's a pain for speedrunners, but it sure is handy if you're using save states to avoid Ninja encounters for a LLG. Manipulating encounters there is nice and easy.

On a side note it's a shame... if that worked in the other way it could have been possible to create an artificial static Veldt in any place of the game(if the chaining pack test will reveal positive)...
