The only way I've found to do custom bosses with any reliability is to simply create a "monster in a box" situation. I can deal with that, but I'm... not quite sure how to select which monster they fight when they open the chest.
The treasure chest type is "monster-in-a-box", but the pack # doesn't correlate to anything I know of in FF3usme!

You will have to use a combination of USME to set up the monster pack, and FF6MDE to set up the chests contents, and then the Level Editor to place the chests on the map, unless you just want to use a pre-existing chests. So in FF6MDE, go to "Chests." There you can set up your newly created monster pack (the boss) to a chest. It can be pretty confusing.
We are born, live, die and then do the same thing over again.

Ah, so you can't do it with FF3usME?
Guess I have to use THREE programs o_O
Are there any video tutorials for creating a custom boss via treasure chest?
