Background
Starting around 2010, Gi Nattak slowly built one of the most impressive romhack OST, all romhacks considered. With the early help of JCE3000GT, pioneer of SPC injection in Squaresoft games, Gi Nattak was able to convert other Squaresoft classics into FF6 songs. Then with the help of madsiur came BRR samples expansion, allowing samples from other game being used in FF6 songs to make as an example a Chrono Trigger song sound exactly as if it was in Chrono Trigger. Around 2013-2014 the process of using MML files was adopted, speeding up song conversions and compositions. Finally came composer Jackimus who has done some exceptional contributions to this OST as well as tsushiy who himself is the closest competitor to RotDS OST with his FF6j hack Final Fantasy VI T-Edition.
