Desperation attacks are pretty much the prologue of limits, or IP attacks (Lufia II)...
Thanks for the patch Gi!

Did you remove the "must be turn 3 or later" limitation too?

No, that one is still in as I never knew it was in there to begin with 0_0. I'll be damned. I'm having trouble locating it in the disassembly, if you can point it out to me that'd be cool. Although I think what I changed might have removed all limitations, but I'm not sure. Also while looking at the whole Desperation Attack stuff, I noticed this one:
C2/15F6: D0 18 BNE $1610 (No DA if this character already used it this combat) Which I might have considered removing also.
And also this one:
C2/15D1: 90 3D BCC $1610 (No DA if time counter is 767 or less)
I swear I have done a DA before 767, but whatever.
But in all fairness to balance, I suppose 1 DA per char, per battle is a good thing, as well as the "must be turn 3 or later." I have played through the game testing out how DA's anytime would effect the balance, and I think keeping these checks in is beneficial.

No worries, I actually agree with the balance there.
I did the same thing in my hack - kept all the other requirements but removed the 'near fatal status' check.
