Battle Background Offsets
Battle Background Data is compressed. Use Geigers "Peer Sprite Viewer" to decompress and recompress graphics.
I asked Lord J if he would be able to implement such a thing in his next installment and lets be hopeful
Speaking of Lord J, I got the offsets from his website.

"Sometimes ninjas do wrong to each other, and in dat way the force of tha earf' comes around da moon - and at that presence, da dirt, it overshadows the grass, so you're like, I can't cut dis grass, there's no sun comin' through. So in order to enable each other the two fruits have to look each other in da eye and understand we can only be right, as da ripe is wrong, you know what I mean?"

It seems that way.
I have backups of the forums/site on my PC so if anything were to happen, I can fix it with ease. I doubt anything will happen really however. :p

Oh shi-
Next time I'm riding solo, let me know! Hahaha. I had no clue I was by myself. I would have made more time in my schedule for the Forum!
...
But it's not like anything happened, anyways.

Is there no way to edit a monster's battle script so the background can be changed several times during a battle?
I couldn't find any way on how to do this, any ideas?

that I dont know
the only thing that can change the backgrounds are dances
u might have 2 look @ those offsets
or give an enemy the dance ability (idk if that can be done tho)

I tried giving an enemy the command "dance"
but it seems that the game automatically assigns Wind Song and the background changes back to the WOB's plains...and I cannot get the enemy to do another dance
