Forum Update

A long overdue forum update has been done! 

To summarize, all the old custom stuff is gone (shoutbox, moods, thank you/like system, alerts, etc.) due to old theme being beyond incompatible with current forum engine version. So now we have a close version of the MyBB default theme and functionalities, but the good side is many old bugs and the outdated css and code are now gone due to this kind of update!

I have a small to-do list for now:

1. Bug - Fix the [img]/[video] tags to display their content. (fixed, to enable images and videos see this post)
   
2. Feature - Look into the Discord webhook plugin so it works with new forum version. (fixed!)
   
3. Bug - Fix the reccuring 500 errors. (likely before September 15)
   
4. Themes - Create a dark version of the default theme. (in the next weeks)

I fall in love with the old board look for many years

Bug - Fix the [img]/[video] tags to display their content. (will try to fix it this weekend)

To fix this, each user must check the "Display videos in posts" and "Display images in posts" checkboxes in "Thread view options" settings in User CP, under "Edit options" submenu.

I agree that the old theme had its charms! (and was less eyes soring)

it had alot of features i liked on it as well

I'm gonna bring back some of those features, but it will take some time. We were at a point that if the forum was a house, it was easier and better to tear it down and start on new foundations, later putting inside the decoration and furniture we used to like in the old house.

I have been getting alot of service unavaiable errors and not enough space errors on this board update

ever since you updated the Board, this never happen on the old board update at all

so i do not know what could be wrong here

does anyone else encounter these errors at all?

Thanks for the report! Me and another admin did encouter a lot of these kind of errors, so we know now it's probably a widespead situation. I'll have to check the server logs and fix it, likely before September 15.

I noticed if you get an error and reload the page, you are able to continue what you were doing, until it happen again at a later time.
