The patch changes slightly the damage algorithm of the Valiant Knife Weapon. For reference:

Code:

old algorithm with ignore defense setting:
    damage = (max hp - actual hp) + weapon damage

new algorithm:
    damage = (max hp - actual hp) + 1

Two patches are available: the version 10a doesn't ignore defense and the version 10b ignores it.
