Palette questions!

So as I was creating my second character I realized that the palettes are shared across characters and my color changes had affected them! My question is (and I hope this is on the right thread) is there a way to increase the number of palettes in game? Or should I just be careful with my color choices and share them between characters?

You'll have to share the palettes, unfortunately. Expanding the character palettes would not be an easy endeavor, no one's ever done it anyway. You can however change which palette a character uses, if a different palette would work better for a certain character. So yeah plan ahead with the color schemes and be prepared to do a lot of NPC re-coloring!

Awesome thanks for the heads up, my second character is turning out amazing. My skills have jumped majorly since yesterday, I have this whole week off from work for FFXV so there will be a ton of time for me to continue working on this!

It doesn't expand the number of palettes and you still have to share palette between characters. It only expand the number of available colors per palette.

Thanks for the discussion about it, its no worry to work around palettes, just wondered what my options were. After I finish this character today Im going to start getting into some coding. Got to add statuses and descriptions to some weapons to start. So be ready for another barrage of questions haha
