Aside of FF6, I don't follow really anything in particular except some FFIV stuff and emulators/debuggers development on GitHub and other places that I won't mention here. Concerning FFIV:

Chillyfeez's hack "A Threat from Within" looks really promising and the guy will most likely bring it to a version 1.0:

The FFIV graphic update project is pretty cool also:

I also lurk on the Triple Tech forums and Chrono Compendium for CT hacking / development and the FF6 steam group (that is filled at 99% with people waiting for hacks :/ )

@FF6Fanatic: yeah, I'd love to expand Shadowrun too. I always felt the game was too short for its potential. But for now I'd settle for being able to map out some values in ROM/RAM so I can make a rebalance/hardtype mod. Smile

I have documentation on (some) runner stats as well as Jake's starting/max stats and I've used them to hardcode the three different "challenge run" mods i described in a thread on the Gamefaqs Shadowrun board: Mage, Decker and Merc (and Tourist, lol). With the help of a bit of disassembling and asm knowledge, I also rewrote the Jake initialization routine to give him all the spells from the start in the Mage mod, which is pretty fun and different.

I'd really like to find the values for Runner duration and hiring cost, as well as enemy data, spell data, weapon data, gear prices and availability, etc. And the routines for the damage formulas because they are stupid. A true rebalance/hardtype mod isn't really complete without these changes.

I should try and get ahold of Admiral and Dragoon Zero. They seem to have a lot of this stuff figured out.

most of the main sites have been shown, i love smwcentral even tho its not as easy to navigate as this site. It has loads of super mario 64 hacks as well as world snes stuff, some great programs can be found in particular SM64 Level Importer 1.9.4S by Skelux that allows for importing of google sketchup 3d models, skyboxes, water, scaling for maps and various star settings for bosses. Toads tool by vl tone that allows for object setting, stars enemies coins and various.

I like Zelda64.net it has some nice hacks including:
project first quest: http://forums.zelda64.net/topic/11194414/9/#new
ocarina of time revisited: http://forums.zelda64.net/topic/11565325/9/#new
ZEY: http://forums.zelda64.net/topic/11388182/1/
Project beta triforce: http://forums.zelda64.net/forum/4209182/
to name a few decent hacks of the game, it also has a lot of tutorials for programs such as
hylian tool box (level importer/model importer with collision settings for lava, hookshotable, slippery etc and object adder)
sharpocarina similar to above but a different style more easy to use program less in depth tho such as no character models
scene navi level editor for vanila and a few other cool programs.
