There's no such thing as a physical attack that doesn't trigger Retort. If Retort wasn't working, it was because you were reselecting the command over and over before waiting to be hit. The counterattack state isn't cancelled when your turn comes up, but it is cancelled when you select a new command. So if you set up Retort and then have Locke just sit there and not take a turn until he gets hit, it will trigger. If you set up Retort and then select the command again as soon as Locke's ATB comes up, you will become unable to counterattack until Locke actually takes his turn.

Yeah, i can confirm that it was what actually happened, during the stream i thought that it could be the reason, but i forgot about that 
i remember he also spammed sky before even being hit.

Last night's stream wasn't as long, but I didn't expect the last one to be that long either.

Highlights include OP zombie spam enemies on the Phantom Train, Number 128 showing up on the Phantom Train randomly in a battle, because he was not happy I was going to beat him later in the game and decided to cause a time paradox.

Oh, and Zozo full of Plasma, the dance move spammers.
That was a lot of fun.

I like this randomizer a lot, but I was getting a little frustrated.
Although, I don't mean to be.

And since i noticed that the game loves troll you with super thunder attack spammers, perhaps you should try to test your rages offline and find 
someone of the monsters who absorbs or are immune to lightning.

Speaking of weird issues, I started up an Ancient Cave seed, and the game graphically glitched at one point and now my characters in one party all are wearing inverted color magiteck armor.

Which is really minor, but also kind of annoying.

So, sorry for the resurrection, , but I was watching Deranged_squirrel_fighter play this randomizer, and his collapsing house had 4 monster in a boxes. That was pretty crazy. Including the Presenter. Whoa.

I've never seen that in any of my runs.

I remember in one of my runs i found 2 MiaB and they were 2 dragons! i had to wait a lot of time before i could enter here and clear it at 100%

Also, I noticed an enemy in a normal formation, that looked like the brawlers, but blue, that seemed to have every ability just about.
Can enemies gain the equivalent of R-Chaos?
Because he used Zinger, Pearl Wind, Land Slide, Remedy, multiple different attack spells and abilities, and a few other skills I can't remember.
But I've never seen an enemy who has at least 12 different abilities they use.
Even bosses.
Update for skills, Palidor summoning, and the ability to cast Aero.

you should try to see if he's not a rare monster

Oh, no, he's in a common battle formation all the time.
But I've never seen anything in the game, near Narshe, in the WoR or anywhere have so many possible commands.

IT HAS BUM RUSH!?!
Wow. I've never seen an enemy with Bum Rush. It literally does have the enemy equivalent of R-Chaos.
It has Pummel and Wave Cannon as well.
