Usernames.

So, I've been wondering how Many of you have gotten your Usernames. So I thought I'd post something about it.


Well, I first started out with WEEGEE2345, but then, I wanted a name that wouldn't sound stupid and stick. So I went through MrChocobo, MrMenzies, And then it was gonna be Vyprus, but then I misspelled it on FF6Hacking with a C, so I decided to keep it that way.

When i have to register to a site which is very impotant for me, i use Tenkarider as username: my true avatar name.

Otherwise i may invent any other stupid nickname possible

That means i care much about this site.

I feel like I could reply with a dot and you could figure out where my username comes from.

I was wondering... Could it be the chance that Cecil188 comes from Cecil of FF4?????

I can't remember why I chose Gi Nattak as my user name. Probably playing FF7 at the time and thought it was an interesting name. I think I used it first on GameFaqs like 8-10 years ago and then just rolled with it - I'm not obsessed with him or anything like that, despite my current avatar lol. But I do think Gi Nattak is a cool boss that actually had a nice back story of sorts that left me wondering more about the Gi Tribe.

Ok, it's a long story: i'll start saying that Tenkarider is composed from Tenka and Rider names:

- Tenka is related to my past, long time ago, when i was a Yu-Gi-OH! player, it was a period in which trap cards were really hated(bottomless trap hole, sakuretsu, mirror force, torrential tibute...), so people tried to find any way to block them.
Among level 4 monsters there were 2 monsters who were suited for that role: Tenkabito Shien and E-Hero Wildheart: they had the same ATK, but the second one more DEF, so people used only the hero.
Since i hate E-Heroes(starting from Jaden, Yugioh anime wouldn't never been the same, yugi was a badass...), I decided to use Tenkabito Shien, instead... Best players around there started to call me Tenkabito and then Tenka(i still have that card with my photo, instead of the image too! )

Ans so i became famous With the name of Tenka...
I remember that one day, when i was frequenting highschool, and while i was in the library, 2 guys came to me and asked: "hey, are you Tenka??"
Good ol' days...

- About Rider part of the name... is quite shorter, Since Tenka represented my past, Rider is something that represents my present and, even more, my future... An high goal that i wanna reach.
So it had to be something really badass, then i've chosen the name of the strongest(hidden) monster of Breath of Fire 4: the Rider.

Now mix the image of the two guys, color the result of black, flames and aura of blue and, just to give him a better design, he wields a sword covered from blue flames, like the one shown in FF7 crisis core(when you summon Odin).

You should obtain a black knight who rides a black Nightmare(some kind of ghostly horse) and wielding a long katana(shorter than the Sephiroth's Masamune, but larger), all with blue flames and aura surrounding him: That's the aspect i imagined for my avatar.

It would be really cool if i manage to realize him with FF6 graphics style and replace the image of the Guardian...

I use the same username everywhere nowadays, and never change it any more. I prefer to have a single identity so that people know I'm the same person. It also makes me more accountable for what I say.

Funnily enough, the only part of this name with a real backstory is the "2". When I first got high speed internet, I subscribed to exactly two (this two is a coincidence) Youtubers for the longest time. One of these YouTubers was a guy named Moogleboss, and I hadn't had much experience on the internet, so I chose the strange nickname of "iwishiwasmoogleboss2" (notice the too->two pun here, the number isn't random). After realizing that I now couldn't comment on his videos without seeming like a total weirdo, I changed it to what you see today. The 2 is a leftover of my older username.

It's the familiar form of my real name.
Also it's my witch name.
