I don't remember if a similar thread has been made...

Outside VG music, post a song you like and maybe tell us why. Then the next person can comment the previous song or just rate it or just post a song he likes. Whatever suits you.

I chosen this song because it has powerful lyrics and a great buildup. I think it is one of the best NIN song.

I have a whole list of them, I like a diverse range of classic rock, some current stuff, and some soul from the 80's and rap and hip-hop.
Here's a few.
Phil Collins-In the Air Tonight
Judas Priest-Screaming For Vengeance(whole album)
Heart-Magic Man/Crazy on You

- NIN is great, I used to listen to them when I was into metal.
- I'm down for some Phil Collins as well lol, his music relaxes me and in the air tonight is always nice to listen to.

I like this song because it reminds me of playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater with my friends for one, and the late 90's in general and ska music which was really popular then. It makes me think of the good music and times back then. =)

Yeah, I guess that was was a stupid question.

Anyways I'm mainly a fan of Orchestral, Jazz, Techno, and Classical. Thought there are a few songs out of my preferred genre that I do like.

I chose this song mainly because of how the song mixes with the Video.

Thats cool man, all those types of music are very different from each other, but that means that you are open to all kinds of music and are not biased.

Wow Gi Nattak nice choice!!!

I am myself a huge Sublime fan and I really like the first Offspring album. "Loser" from Beck is also a 90'S classic. It reminds me of high school.

The Skee-lo song I never heard it but it does have a good old school sound.

I'll go with a few other song I cherish:

1) I don't know why I like this song. Maybe because it's from the 80's and maybe I like Cyndie Lauper's voice. One thing is sure it's 1000 times better than what Celine Dion has done with the song.

2) A Psytrance remix of the first real Trance song. It does reminds me my firsts rave parties in the early 2000's. Such nostalgia.

3) One of my favorite ska-punk song. It has strings in it !!!!

4) Amazing rock song. Probably my favorite song to appear in a movie, Trainspotting, which appear to be one of my favorite movie as well. This reminds me of the 90's as well, although the song is 10 years older.

I actually don't listen to much non-video game music. What little I do like is usually orchestral, or maybe a tiny bit of softer rock. Regardless, I don't even think that there's any non-VG songs that I like, can name the band that performed them, and the performers in that band all at once. In fact, I doubt I could even name any titles, really.

If you were asking about non-video game genres that I hate, I think I could make a much longer list. Laugh
