Complete list of Gau's rages
02-16-2014, 12:51 PM
So after my 40th something playthrough, I've decided I'd like to try a 100% completion run. I know all of the Lores I need, but Rages have always eluded me.
So far I know I need:
Doberman from the Imperial Camp
Telstar from the Inperial Camp
Intangir on the Triangle Island
Nightshades in the painting
Io (?) in Cyan's dream
Over-Mind in Phantom Train
And I know I have to find the grenade somewhere, but I don't know where.
Can someone tell me what others I'm missing?

Absolutely everything you could possibly need to know about Rages is in this document. I love this thing!

Dude, is there anything you can't help me with? That guide is insane! But now I'm paranoid: did I get all three bugs in Figaro cave? If I don't get all the overworld enemies will they leave? WHYYY

Since you asked specifically for Grenades, I think they're in the forest slightly south of the Waterfall in the WoB. It requires an airship to get there.
I'm sure someone made a comprehensive list on 'rare' rages and where to encounter them to bring them to the Veldt. Frankly, I've always hated the practice of gathering Rages. I tried it once, made a huge comprehensive list of each one (pre-internet days). There's really only a few specific ones I aim for anymore seeing more just flood his list with useless rages.
P.S. My rage lists included weapon graphics added to Gau's basic attack, status de/buffs I could observe as well as the usual spell used.

Wait, i don't think so, i remember that you can go to grenades on foot(what would be the point in hiding there a chocobo stable, otherwise? ), you must search for the greatest forest in WoB, if you find bombs, then you're in the right place, 1/16 chance is grenade.
If you don't want to waste too much time, you can still fight a grenade in the fight against flame eater(wait until it spawns the grenade), but i don't know if you can use leap in that fight...
