Final Fantasy Dissidia, Final Fantasy VI Style

whenever I get done with my current hack, I'll be starting a new one, this time I'm going to have it with a dissidia theme.

Terra - Cloud
Locke - Firon
Edgar - Cecil
Sabin - Final Fantasy I Knight
Shadow - Squal
Cyan - Tidus
Gau - Zidane
Celes - Terra
Setzer - Vaan, or if I get enough complaints, Balthier
Mog - Onion Knight
Strago - Bartz
Relm - Lightning
Gogo - Someone give me a charecter from FFXI!
Umaro - I am deleting this charecter. Yes you can do that.

I don't really have a storyline made out for this hack yet.
Post you ideas below and I will take the best into consideration.

What's funny is half the characters you listed are already in my hack.
Why don't you just used the finished version of mine, I'm 85% complete.

May I recommend, rather than deleting Umaro, you use his place to input either Ramza Beoulve or Benjamin from FF Tactics and FF Mystic Quest (respectively)? I hate that FF Tactics is always excluded. I also recommend making sprites of yourself to be put in place. That was to be my next project. I was planning on making a hack using sprites of my friends and I.

Also, it would be nice if you could open the hack a little more and use characters that are not main protagonists, that way we get a variety of sprites up on the site via requesting. However, I am not you, and cannot tell you what to do, so feel free to do as you please, I just think these would be more beneficial to all in the future.

Well I don't want to use umaro, because he's a beserker, and I can't figure out how to make him have a regular command list. I might take into consideration you idea though, except the side charecters would replace charecters like the Ghost, Leo, and other limited playable charecters. Zeemis I might. XD

This is pretty interesting. I know your not using Umaro, but if you change your mind, try using Kimahri.

well there is that patch that lets u control Umaro and u can always use FF3USME to fix how those actions work, the only flaw is that he would still be limited to those 4 moves

I can't figure out how to edit Umaro's list the rom with that IPS initiated.

It'll be chapter based, it will take the most popular charecters from the main Final Fantasy Series that are really shunned, we as hackers will create the stories for these charecters. For Example, Final Fantasy - The untold stories Chapter Six - Gogo. Final Fantasy - The Untold Stories Chapter XII - Rex.
(Rex is Vaan's brother fyi)
