Strange shading on lower half of screen....
05-07-2012, 05:14 AM
So I patched a GBA FF6 with sound and color restoration (basically so the colors and sound is like the SNES version.) patches and while on the overworld in the airship there is a a sort of shading on the bottom of the screen. It's not a small area but nearly halfway up the screen. I tried using an unpatched version but to no avail... I'm playing on iPod which is the problem since on PSP and PC it works no problem...I just want to be able to play on something that is quick and easy. Anybody know how I would fix this? I'll try to get a screenshot. Sorry if I'm not allowed to talk about emulators but I was just trying to check the rules and I can't access them (?)
PS: This shading effect only happens in FFVI.

you can talk about emulators here we dont go crazy or anything like that
if you plan on uploading an image do not use the attachment feature use tinypic or imageshack

So in order to enable each other the two fruits have to look each other in da eye and understand we can only be right, as da ripe is wrong, you know what I mean?"

Since it works well on PC and and PSP, I doubt there is a problem with the patch or the game. There might be a conflict between the emulator you use on your ipod and your ipod or the game, not that something is broken, but I am no ipod specialist. There was a patch for the european version only of FFVI that was released in 2009 but Novalia Spirit's patch is good for all three versions (JUE) and is the one that is available to download almost everywhere. Maybe you would have a better answer on a GBA emulation site...
