This is Magus from Chrono Trigger.

He kinda reminds me of Golbez lol.

I managed to get a few poses from CT in there, I had to change the spell sprite that was requested because it was to big but this one is still good.

Looking good buddy, custom pallet? Id never played chrono trigger before thursday so i downloaded it to help me get over my cold lol.. great looking magus. Will start that portrait for u tomorrow Wink I wonder if Robo could be a future possibility? hes my fav trigger character even tho hes got no magic lol
The only limit is imagination. And 16 colors.. I guess

I've only just recently played it myself lol, little gem of a game.
And Robo may be possible but he would be very difficult, I'll take a look at him and see if he cane be done another time.

And great! Can't wait for my Lightning portrait. ^_^

Superb job Henry, you always nail it.

I have a comment on Magus's surprised sprite. He's kind of emotionless, like Golbez. He never got scared, not even in CT. So, a good scared sprite for him could be his "facing down" pose.

Hmm so would that be the "laughing pose" or the forward "looking down"?
Or do you want me to tweak the shocked pose a bit?
Kinda like just editing the face but keeping the arms down, or maybe editing the face to look like the "looking down" pose and editing the arms to look like the "laughing pose".
Lol sorry if that sounds confusing. :p

I actually suprised myself with the custom poses because at one point I didn't even think I could make them, I love the way the "spell sprite" came out. :p
