I fail to see what this thing does exactly that is so cool...? I understand it puts SNES games onto floppy discs, but what beneficial value does that really have? Can you then in-turn play or "burn" them from the floppy disc on it also, or is it just a way to preserve your games on floppy discs?

Floppy or using a parallel port to transfer the ROM to your computer and vise versa. You can put any ROM that meets the requirements of the hardware up to 16MBit (2.0 Mbyte) on the Super Magicom and play it on your TV. This includes mods.

You can essentially make your own roms. It requires you to have the game as well, which should be obvious as you're ripping the rom version straight from the SNES game.
Seems like vice versa as well.
Oh man! Yes, now I see its awesomness! I've always wanted to that, play my ROMS on my T.V. I'm aware however, that there are already ways to achieve that, like modding a wii, or an X-Box I think, and even the PSP can do it. But this is would be much more stable than some of the emu's for said systems, and much more legit and easier as well, right?

You need a Super Wild Card you get games like FF6, CT, RS3, and other hirom games larger than 16-mbit aka 2mbyte. But the super magicom will work with like FF4, MQ or maybe Ys III.
