I've been wondering for a few days now if there are any tools available for hacking PSX games, and specifically for the assembly language used to code those games.
All I could find was that PSX uses the MIPS architecture (or rather, the MIPS r3000 assembly language).
Any help or guides are really appreciated :p

I know Lenophis was looking into hacking FF7. He'd be your best bet with hacking PSX hacking I guess.
I've only ever hacked SNES games.

Angelo: You should definitely contact Zaraktheus from the SaGaF gameFAQs board if you're interested in SaGaF structure. He's been putting a debugger to it for ages now figuring out the various workings of the game.
