I wen't back to the Phoenix Cave for the Red Dragon and got it on the second attempt, I imagine elemental resistances when possible will help a lot with these guys.
And yeah, as I said, while we can see somewhat an intended order for when some areas should be made, there's still a huge variation in how players can do things. Don't worry much about what I said.
I have another glitch, though, although I don't think I've updated yet, maybe it's fixed in the last one.
I tried to use a Mega-Ether (that one that recovers MP to the group, but only during battles). It does not work as intended, once used, the background blurs and you can hear steps, as if you used an item or spell to escape battle, but then the battle goes on, only the screen is entirely black and remains so. Thankfully I saved just after the Red Dragon on the save point on the way out.
