The New FFIV

It would literally just be two commands that open the same menu. If a character knew Black Magic and you gave them the White command, then their list of Black spells would still appear on it.

this is very interesting.

I temporarily put this project down for awhile because of the stumps along the way, but I'd like to pick it back up.
The new magic system will still prove to be an issue.


I'm only going to work on weapon/magic stats, magic animations, and character sprites.
A few other misc. things that don't come to mind as well.

There are 255 items (including 0 as one, excluding "empty" as an item) in FFVI.

Regarding Grey magic and Summon magic, I may do away with Grey magic altogether and replace the Grey magic icon with Summon magic which would free up a slot for a new weapon. In FFIV, there wasn't grey magic, just black, white and summon. I am excluding Blitz that Edge uses.
