V is definitely better than II which was just... tragic. Literally, nearly everyone who helps you dies a very horrible death before you go and get another character. V, I think they could have thought up a better name than Exdeath for the main villain the moment I saw that name I was like... yeah... how...very...stereotypical...

I liked the job system of V though, I always kept Rena a summoner, Bartz a Magic Knight, Faris either a Black Mage or Support Job, and Galuf/Krile a Hunter.

one thing in the original psone version was pretty gay the dialogue's were badly typed and the monster names didnt even fit in battle
