It definitely gets called, it's a funny, albeit pointless little scene. If Terra searches the table you can throw it away, but if you don't, then if you choose to be the ray of hope, the very first thing that happens at the table is Banon walks down and says "hey, who left this paper here"?picks it up and throws it away in that little pot object and Terra does an action, then the event carries on. In the Japanese version I'm sure it was a porno mag.

I always imagined it was a doodle that someone made of Banon having carnal relations with a donkey. Please don't mod me, I'm dead serious.
