I've never had him turn up in my cave runs, but damn - I imagine that must suck. 

Yeah. Maybe if you could bet a Striker for him, like in the main game, it would be okay.

At least that way, you can have an occasionally amazing party member.
Mine currently has a very good magic power, and R-Fire and R-Heal.

It's only annoying when he thinks Spiraler needs to be used.

I also noticed you referencing the Evade bug, but that is removed in Beyond Chaos.

Yeah, that was the best seed I've gotten so far.

And thank you for bringing to my attention that BC has actually rectified the Evade Bug; now I can talk actual sense to my viewers instead of these lies!!

Shadow going away spices up the playthrough: that must be kept.

Tenka, it literally makes no sense that he does.
That means you can never have a full party for Ancient Cave mode, which is beyond silly, not beyond chaos.

For those of us who enjoy having a full party list, this is not a good thing.

The entire point of going through Ancient Cave mode, and beating Kefka, is that it's different from the main game. It shouldn't have the same exact annoyances as the main game.

Even in the base game, there was a way to make sure Shadow didn't up and leave randomly when you found him in Sabin's scenario.
Do that scenario last, and he doesn't leave until Barren Falls.

And even if he does leave, it's super rare, beyond the 1/16 at the end of a fight. Maybe if it you fought 1000 battles, he might leave. But that's about the only way I see him leaving.
All I want is Ancient Cave to make it so either you can bet a striker for him, to guarentee him being in your party forever, or acts like you're doing the Sabin Scenario last, always.

Quick, also, the main bugfixes also fixes Goggles, and blindness, the vanish-doom trick, , and a few other issues.

The only glitch not fixed is the Sketch Glitch. Because occasionally getting 60 Paladin Shields is worth the game locking up.

Shadow leaving suddenly is definitely something that in a randomizer should happen: a random event.
the fact this is not bounded to story events(besides you're not supposed to know who's the shadow guy) so you can't see that coming in time...
well i think this is just perfect, especially in a BC race, this fact might suddenly allow a racer to get an advantage against a racer who loses shadow
during the run(combined to his current situation)

Besides i think it was possible to find him later: i remember in one of my playthroughs the shadow guy left and then i found him later.
i'm pretty sure you can get him back for sure betting in the Colosseum.

There's actually a flag that you're probably setting that fixes most of the huge bugs. But yes, it doesn't fix the Sketch bug. Apparently people like playing with that option available to them(which is honestly frustrating when you get a berserker with Sketch). That's why the ROM is based off a 1.0 version of FFVI, and not the 1.1 version, which would patch that out.

Basically, I just don't want to start an argument. So, I respect your opinion.
Even if I do not share it regarding Shadow.

And yes, your Ultimate Czar Dragon would eat the Kaiser Dragon.
But I'm fairly certain even your Ultimate Czar Dragon is not as strong as certain actual bosses in video games.
