So I've almost got all the sprites in my hack completely finished and (thanks to GI Nattak) moved Sabin over to palette 1. I needed the event where you first get him to update so it looked right on the overworld so I downloaded a save so I could play up to that point.
I came across this that made me laugh my ass off.
