Well, I need Gilgamesh for my game, so I'll be taking this on. Here's a sample of where I'm going.....

Haha, it's cool and funny to see so many Gilgamesh attempts and projects, even though they're all that one static pose that's based on the sprite from that Japanese hack. XD It seems nobody can ever get past that one pose for him! Both of those previews look really nice so far, UnklMnky and of course, Dr.Blank. I enjoy the difference in style.
Dr.Blank, that one lookes very nice, It's highly artistic and custom looking. I'd love to see more of it and of course a spritesheet! It's hard to get him to work with other characters in a hack, due to his insane colors. He needs his colors to look like Gilgamesh obviously, so the palette used, and in-turn the NPCs or other characters sharing it have to take a hit, with all the red's/oranges and yellows...and Turquoises. Hard to recolor the NPCs. But hey, it's Gilgamesh, so it's worth it! ^_^

Here's my sheet - WIP....as you can see, I'm using Siegfried as a base so that it looks like the right style, and hopefully will look good in a hack. Also, I'm using a limited palette, so he'll be usable as a playable character.
He looks very bug-eyed walking downwards and there's a bit of pillow-shading on his sprites.
Aside from that, it looks good.

I moved the whites of his eyes down one pixel, that should fix the bug eye piece. As for the pillow shading, I'm not sure how to fix that, I just tweak the sprite until it looks right.....

I'll email u a bin file that I have given Mike (since that Sigfried I tweaked n he has 2 swords so it should be easier 4 u)
