Eliminating Redundant Captions
Over time I noticed a lot of dialogue captions in the game get a bit repetitive, and in some cases ARE exactly the same. Well, for a current project I needed more captions than I had left over after using the dummied ones, and decided to look into this more to see which captions can be removed and replaced with identical captions, freeing up that caption for other uses.
Since the context behind the captions still changes, of course, I decided that since people may want to change those captions on their own, instead of creating a patch, I'd provide a list. I focused on "generic" captions used by NPCs or as general dialogue text, since the party's dialogue is more likely to be changed by other projects. Here's a rundown of numerous captions that are identical enough that one of them could be eliminated, what it's used for, and where in the event script it's used. With this you can pick and choose which redundant captions you want to eliminate on your own.

Thank you SO much for pointing this out. I recently ran into this problem during my current project. Now I can use this as a tool in order to make my work easier! WOW!
