Well I guess it went correctly last evening. I'm probably going to continue the lottery system before next stream by doing the following:

1) Add a parameter for prize level definition and capping (GP bet or % of success). Add user defined limit in assembly file for the 4 prize levels.

2) Add a parameter for prize type and add each type as optional before assembling (by coding each module in a differentr ASM file and referencing it in main file). Among the different type, I can see 4 things: Experience, more gold, magic points and random items (4 different tiers). I will likely code the last two during next stream, for the rest I will test what has been done so far and code what has been mentioned.

Thoughts?

T'was good, I had pratically zero lag. On the prizes I was going to suggest having the character learn Ultima instantly upon winning. It'd be cool to see a "You learned Ultima!" message appear, kind of out of left field.

Also did I miss the FF7 Aeris revival tips? Guess I came in late.

I decided to make the lottery event command similar to the multi-command shown in first stream, first parameter ($EB) being a sub-command ID. There should be one sub-command for the betting, one for prizes and possibly one for messages if we need something different than the current vanilla dialogues commands.

I postponed my next stream to September 30th. I'm already overloaded with school, a few other hacking tasks and the modified FF6LE build. I won't be ready for this Friday so I'm picking a conservative date instead of postponing the stream a second time.

I'm going to stick to monthly streams with the best preparation I can. Now I need ideas for my next stream. Would you like to see another session of ASM of shall I do events tutorials live? I'd like some specific ideas from other user to make this enjoyable for most people possible. I'm also opened to specific small hacks to help in other people's projects.
