What you're looking for is a line in the output that doesn't match what's in the disassembly that you hadn't changed yourself. You'd cross-reference the output with the disassembly to make sure everything matches up where it should.
I still don't see anything wrong. You can keep stepping through the rest of the routine (use Step Over to bypass any JSRs you come across, if you wish) while cross-referencing with the disassembly to see if anything doesn't match up. If this is a ROM you've been working on for a while, it could be something as simple as a leftover relic from an earlier version of the hack or something.

Right, so I've got the adjustments working on a regular FF3U 1.0 ROM. Considering all the patches I've applied to my hack I may opt to simply recreate the whole thing, considering most of the work could be accomplished with FF3usME. I suppose I'll see how far I get with the Debugger first.
