They are not bad for a start, need a little work but other than that, not bad for your first sprite.

Your superman looks like the one from Red Sun. Good starting sprites, could still use a little bit more polishing, but well done.

please make separate posts per character, the only time that more then one sprite sheet is allowed per post is if its a project or if its specific for a group of sprites you are creating for a hack, if you want it to keep both sheets here on this post then title it DC chars that you are working on or something along those lines

as for the sprites themselves they aren't bad looking at all I can see room for a lot of improvement but I'm sure you can do it
