What you've done here is essentially mixing everything that's unadulterated awesome about SNES (Mario, Mega Man X, and FF6) into one form. Bravo, you win spriting.

The chomp looks really good, I'm a bit confused at what I'm looking at at the end of his chain though. It definitely would make a great boss, maybe coming out of the Magitek Research Facility? (Or are you completely redoing the story and maps too? If so I'm impressed by your level of commitment to this project.)

thanks tin... i was tryin to rip a sprite that would look like its holding the chain or being dragged by it haha... n ur right... it replaces number 128 n his claws..... but magitek guy will be a black version while inferno is a gold chomp. Maybe ill get a diff sprite for chain holding... Only problem im having is that the mold is so small.

How about putting Kamek in there somewhere? Like he can be Emporer Gestahl's replacement. If you don't want to do that, then he can be some sort of enemy. The Hazers can be Magikoopas. I know you can't have a Mario game without 'em.
