What thing about RPGs do you dislike the most?
I went with NPCs blocking my way, which was the actually the whole inspiration behind making this poll. I move to the right, the NPC moves to the right, I go left, they go left, etc. It drives me crazy! I'm not trying to dance with you, NPC... Sometimes I rage and cuss at them, or just give in and wait until they walk completely out of my way. I often wish that instead of initiating a dialog with the NPC when talking to them, you instead just punch them out of your way.
This whole 'NPC blocking movement' choice also goes for NPCs that literally stop you from going somewhere, like ones that prevent you from leaving or entering a town, or a cave, due to an event needing to be done first. I know they have to be there to prevent the player from sequence breaking, tons of games do it, but it just pisses me off sometimes and feels restricting & controlling, and somewhat linear in itself.

We are born, live, die and then do the same thing over again.
