What is your favorite generic place in RPGs?

I personally like floating islands in the sky. Chrono Trigger's Kingdom of Enhasa immediately comes to mind, as well as randomly generated floating islands in Minecraft. I like the generally secluded nature of them, as well as the fact that they generally seem to be a safe haven from danger. I voted for the castles in lieu of the floating island option that doesn't exist because castles are also really cool.
The only thing harder than finding a needle in a haystack is finding a haystack in a needle.
