Heeey ... just so you know ... I did a little testing with going over the 8,000 bytes limit you mentioned. But I found out ... there is NO LIMIT!!! O___O !!!

I added monster sprites all the way till I only have 48,000 bytes left, saved it, closed FF3SE, re-opened FF3SE, and all my added monster sprites were still there. None of them disappeared (fully or partially) ... I added more than 10 monster sprites that are all around the sizes of 96 or 128. So yeah ... I dunno why they disappeared for you, but it works perfectly on my end!!

One thing though ... even though I used till I only had 48,000 bytes left, when I re-opened the rom in FF3SE, the free space number goes back to around 58,000. BUT ... most important thing is that all the monster sprites I added till I had 48,000 bytes left were still there.

Anyways, thanks again for making this patch. I will report back if I encounter any issue. =)
