Wait, i don't think so, i remember that you can go to grenades on foot(what would be the point in hiding there a chocobo stable, otherwise? 
), you must search for the greatest forest in WoB, if you find bombs, then you're in the right place, 1/16 chance is grenade.
If you don't want to waste too much time, you can still fight a grenade in the fight against flame eater(wait until it spawns the grenade), but i don't know if you can use leap in that fight...
